A Look Into the Program
Over the past eight years, TFI’s internship program has welcomed 34 interns, with two of them now serving in senior management roles. Below, you’ll find Ryan and Megan—both former interns who have grown into management positions within the organization. We’re also excited to share stories from recent interns who returned to TFI after completing their studies.

“The easy access to upper management during my internship provided transitional period for me and created room for growth for me to end up where I am today.
I am a proven and passionate leader, am just one of many current examples to reference when thinking of the trucking industry. During and after my four-year stint at Wilfrid Laurier University, I found a perfect opportunity to join TFI. Within my time period with TFI and their numerous divisions, I was involved in three different groups where I had an opportunity to broaden my skillset through dispatching, administration work, and safety.
Upon first starting with the company, I wasn't fully aware of what to expect. However, I have always felt at ease and comfortable in my own space, as there was never a moment where I believed that the idea of change was one that would present a challenge considering the company has openly embraced change on a continuous basis, allowing for significant flexibility and room for growth. Internally, I always look back at every single experience that I have as a great memory and a learning opportunity. The easy access to upper management during my internship provided a smoother transitional period for me and created the room for growth and improvement for me to end up where I am today.
